Bloom Research and Response Paper Essay

Larkin and Burton’s abstract preface the Joint Commission’s directive for effective communication among caregivers during handoff to ensure patient safety (Larkin & Burton, 2008, p. 360). The case study reviews the lack of handoff practice and its effect on continuum of care provided to â€Å"Ms. C, a 64-year-old woman, presented to the ambulatory surgery center for an open cholecystectomy† (p. 390), and the subsequent workshop utilizing Bloom’s Taxonomy of Education Objectives to educate and change clinical practice among the staff members. From this reader’s vantage Ms. C’s respiratory de-compensation was a result of the nurses’ failure to communicate patients medical history and critical findings during unit-to-unit transfer and shift report, inadequate nurse to patient ratio along with incomplete charting, failure to recognize early signs and symptoms of respiratory compromise, and lack of critical thinking skills. Evidenced by the case study’s assertions, Ms. C required oxygen in the post anesthesia care unit (PACU) but was transferred without it. Second, the PACU nurse did not communicate to the patient’s need for oxygen to the receiving nurse during handoff report. It is unclear if the surgeon wrote vital sign parameters and pulmonary toilet orders, or if there were standard protocols for this post operative unit. Ms. C’s incomplete graphic record indicate she was placed on four liters of oxygen within two hours of her arrival to the unit at 1630; however, fail to adequately trend abnormal vital signs such as low grade temperature and tachycardia (Larkin & Burton, 2008, p. 392). The record does not document any nurse-initiated interventions or call to the doctor requesting a chest x-ray or recommending a respiratory therapy consult for breathing treatment and incentive spirometer. On post-op day two Ms. C’s respiratory status declined requiring a non-rebreather mask, rapid response team consult, and a transfer to the intensive care unit for a diagnosis of respiratory distress (p. 392). There were multiply factors that contributed to the above scenario; Larkin and Burton writes that â€Å"after this near-miss, failure to rescue incident† (p. 94) a task force consisting of management, clinical nurse specialist (CNS) and unit educator convened to discuss the event. The task force concluded that the nursing staff members were ineffectual in critically evaluating the patient’s signs and symptoms. The CNS chose a framework that utilized â€Å"Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives†, that provided measurable outcomes to the ed ucational activity and enabled the nursing team to optimize their critical skill levels. A workshop to assist staff to navigate through the case study in a realistic manner was implemented (Larkin & Burton, 2008, p. 95). The cognitive domain contains six intellectual skills that measure: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation of information received. The affective domain contains five emotional factors: receiving, responding, valuing, organizing, also conceptualizing and characterizing by value concept. It is during this phase that individual buy-in occurs or not. Finally, the psychomotor domain contains five motor skills functions of imitation, manipulation, precision, articulation, and naturalization. The individual learn to adapt his or her movements intuitively to a given situation (Larkin & Burton, 2008, p. 395). The key component of continued nursing education is to advance and apply evidenced based practice at the bedside. The use of Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives as the framework promote the transfer of evidence based information, in a setting that allow the nurse educators to evaluate and measure the learner’s: cognitive, affective and psychomotor processes. It allows the learner (nurse) to assess his or her level of application within each domain. Brown V. Board of Education In the early 1950’s, racial segregation in public schools was normal across America. Although all the schools in a given district were supposed to be equal, most black schools were far inferior to their white counterparts. In Topeka, Kansas, a black third-grader had to walk miles just to get to her all black elementary school. Her father, Oliver Brown, had tried to enroll her in a white elementary school but was refused. Brown went to McKinley Burnett, the head of Topeka's branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and asked for help. They were eager to help the Browns since it had long wanted to challenge segregation public schools. Other black parents joined Brown, and, in 1951, the NAACP requested an injunction that would forbid the segregation of Topeka's public schools. Brown and the NAACP appealed to the Supreme Court on October 1, 1951 and their case was combined with other cases that challenged school segregation in South Carolina, Virginia, and Delaware. On the other hand, the precedent of Plessy v. Ferguson allowed separate but equal school systems for blacks and whites, and no Supreme Court had overturned Plessy yet. The Supreme Court first heard the case on December 9, 1952, but failed to reach a decision. In the reengagement, heard from December 7-8, 1953, the Court requested that both sides discuss â€Å"the circumstances surrounding the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment in 1868. † The rearguement shed very little additional light on the issue. The Court had to make its decision based not on whether or not the authors of the Fourteenth Amendment had desegregated schools in mind when they wrote the amendment in 1868, but based on whether or not desegregated schools deprived black children of equal protection of the law when the case was decided, in 1954. Eventually the Supreme Court struck down the â€Å"separate but equal† doctrine of Plessy for public education and ruled in favor of the plaintiffs, and required the desegregation of schools across America. I was in same dilemma as Jamie when I passed my secondary exam and I was supposed to choose major between math and biology in higher secondary. To overcome the confusion upon the choices I took help from my dad and logically we concluded that I should take math as major and look for career in engineering. The second concept which was underlined throughout the case was that though he was aware of both the pros and cons of buying of both the cars but he tried to seek help from others in deciding rather than sticking to his own decision. A good leader should have the right attitude to seek suggestion upon his/her decision if he/she is being acted upon heart versus mind conflict. A successful leader also seeks suggestion from peer groups for answers. To conclude I believe that mind analyses things logically and strives to arrive at a decision. If the analysis leads to confusion then ask your heart as it is as logical as our mind is. Information is constantly exchanged between them and the decision making depends on a lot of logic in most of the cases. If the mind adds subtracts, the heart multiplies and divides! No wonder the saying listen to your heart when in confusion may holds well at times.

Major events like the 2008 Olympics have also caused the people to think of CCP as highly capable, sustaining its legitimacy. Despite this, the sustainability of CCP’s effectiveness in ruling China in the long term remains highly questionable since fundamental problems still exist in the four considerations, which can significantly sabotage CCP’s current efforts attaining its goals and maintaining its legitimacy. There is hence a need for CCP to address these currently neglected problems to sustain its effective rule. 1) ECONOMIC GROWTH T.S: CCP has been effective in governing China by leading China to attain high economic growth thus strengthening its eudemonic legitimacy. Elaboration: * China has managed to attain average growth of 9% over the past 15 years, pulling millions out of poverty. China’s fast recovery during the 2008 financial crisis also caused many Chinese to be confident in CCP’s capabilities. People are therefore happy with their improved lives and trust that CCP is the best way for China to maintain growth * In poll conducted after financial crisis, 72% opted to keep CCP in power as opposed to promoting democracy and they cited high economic growth as the reason. * CCP therefore effective in governing China in the aspect of economic growth Counter: Despite high eudemonic legitimacy, it is unsustainable since problems caused by economic growth still remain unsolved. Elaboration: * People are unhappy: Wide disparity has caused much dissatisfaction among those left behind by people economic modernization. Many minorities like Tibetans for example continue having separatist tendencies and bear grudges towards Han because of income gap. * Current leaders basing legitimacy on ideology of promoting Harmonious Society. Little progressed has been made in reducing income gap CCP not able to fulfill their promise weaken legitimacy and also not able to appease dissatisfaction. * Legitimacy too reliant on maintaining high growth unsustainable. * China’s economic growth too export driven but as its manufacturing advantage gets eroded by growing labour costs, there is growing need for its economic model to transit to one that is driven by domestic consumption. Domestic consumption now still remains very low which can threaten sustainability of China’s economic growth weakening legitimacy if problem Is not solved. Conclusion for economic consideration: While CCP is now effective in keeping its eudemonic legitimacy, persistent problems like the widening income gap has the potential to erode this current legitimacy and CCP must therefore be more effective in solving these problems and keep economic growth sustainable to ensure its effective rule in the long term.

By this time, Coca-cola had about 60.5% share in the Indian soft-drink market but if they would have withdrawn Thums Up from the market the market share would have remained 28.72% only. As we all agree that this age has become word of fingers instead of word of mouth, Thums up as a big brand should utilise the power of internet in current scenario. I think they can have collaboration with any food place, restaurants etc and along with their ad, Thums Up can promote itself. Email Marketing: Thums Up can use email marketing for increase in its sales. They can directly contact the people who are involved and have the authority to make decisions. For example, they can target colleges and all. Where they can interact with the higher authority through emails and can get the orders. If they allow, Thums Up can have its stall or counter in the colleges and offices. From a brand that was virtually unchallenged to a brand that was stifled, Thums Up stormed back after a near death experience. Sampling is the framework on which any form of research is carried out. A suitable sample that meets the inclusion and exclusion criteria of a research design must be chosen from a given population to carry out studies. In this essay comparison is made between stratified random sampling and convenience sampling. The population on which the researcher is interested in carrying out his or her research may be too large, therefore a suitable sample which can represent the population in correct proportion must be chosen. Kidney Failure and Ultramarathoning :: Personal Narrative Medical Papers

Kidney Failure and Ultramarathoning Four days after winning the Seagate 100 km Ultramarathon in Toledo, Ohio, I was hospitalized for 11 days with Acute Kidney Failure, a direct consequence of the race, possibly exacerbated by the 2400 mg of ibuprofen that I took during the race. In this article, I will describe my race and my hospitalization, discuss similar experiences of two runners after the 1994 Western States (WS) 100 Mile Endurance Run, and tell what I have learned that might be of general interest. I am 49 years old and have been running ultras regularly since 1979. My most memorable performances have included - winning the first ultra I ran, a 6:10 50 miler in my hometown of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, - winning a Sri Chinmoy 12-hour race near San Francisco in 1989, covering almost 78 miles, - second in 45-49 age group in national championship 100 km in 8:51 in New York City in 1993, and - representing the US in the 1994 Italian Del Passatore 100 km, where I finished 54th of 3500 participants in 9:39. The Seagate Ultras on November 26, 1994, included races of 60 km, 50 miles, and 100 km, each run on the same 1.1 mile loop. There were approximately 10, 10, and 6 runners, respectively, in these races, which were judged separately. My 9:29 time for 100 km was not very fast, but it won that race easily, and I also went through 60 km and 50 miles faster than anyone in those races. So I am not a novice. The weather for the race was ideal by my standards, with temperatures in the 30s, light wind, and no precipitation. I was drinking water and/or Gatorade almost every lap, so I don't think dehydration was a cause of my problem. One unusual feature of the race is that I stopped to urinate at least 25 times, whereas usually I stop about 6 times in a race of that duration. I attributed that to the cool weather keeping me from sweating. One factor which is probably significant is that three weeks before the race, during an easy run the day after an excellent 41-mile training run, I injured a calf muscle. I used electronic stimulation to promote healing, and ran very little during the three weeks preceding the race. This area bothered me frequently during the race, feeling as if it wanted to cramp.

How does Shakespeare reveal Richard III’s Essay

      Caliban we already know to be violent in his choice of words â€Å"batter his skull, or paunch him with a stake† but what of the other characters? In plotting to kill his own brother Sebastian is shown to be just as malicious, so too Antonio even if their speech contains some wit, â€Å"and look how well my garments sit upon me†. By this, Antonio is not referring to the clothes he is wearing but to his situation in life, here saying that he Is naturally suited to the role of Duke. Shakespeare uses this figurative imagery show Antonio’s blasphemous character that he would dare to assume a role that is not his. The contrast in speech also applies to the language of the spirits of the Island which are shown to be quite delicate and poetic â€Å"wild waves whist†, Shakespeare uses alliteration of the letter ‘w’ to slows the pace of the speech and produces sounds that makes Ariel seem less human or earth-bound but instead of the air or the waves. In contrast to the way Prospero treats Caliban, Prospero treats Ariel with affection, â€Å"my dainty Ariel†. Shakespeare uses the emphasis on the word â€Å"my† to suggest that Prospero is fonder of the possession of Ariel than Ariel himself. If the Island can be taken as a metaphor for humanity versus nature then the differences in the way Caliban and Ariel are treated by Prospero defines humanity’s ambitions and fears. Prospero treats Ariel with love because he is an asset to him, â€Å"fine apparition, my quant Ariel†, and because of the power that Prospero gains through that control that makes him appear almost God-like. Humans control the elements to gain a level of direction in their lives, to make sense of the meaninglessness of life. It is this direction that leads Prospero to believe and aspire to be like God because it strangles the connection between him and the repulsive beings of nature he has power over, such as Caliban. Equality leads to lack of control and it is Caliban’s adamant rebellion to be seen inferior that sickens Prospero. In the Tempest, Caliban represents people’s natural state and when Prospero oppresses Caliban, Shakespeare is creating an image of civilisation repressing their natural selves and concluding that the tensions between civilisation and nature only exist because of the way civilisation resents it’s natural state. When Gonzalo speaks of his golden age he is explaining a world where nature and civilisation could exist as one without the tensions that are so apparent in the rest of the play. Gonzalo would have â€Å"use of service, none†, â€Å"no occupation† but rather live innocently with nature bringing â€Å"forth of its own kind, all foison†¦ † Shakespeare uses the structure of the speech, interrupted continuously by Antonio and Sebastian, to perhaps mock the idea and highlight its faults. The idea itself comes from a French philosopher who describes how the Europeans corrupted America with its advanced influence. Through Sebastian and Antonio, Shakespeare is undermining his words and this implies that his own opinion could be that nature and civilisation can never both exist without the differences or hostility between the two. I believe Shakespeare presents the tensions between Civilisation and Nature not as to highlight their difference, but rather to highlight the tension that is created by society’s denial in their similarities. Perhaps the repulsion of Caliban is seen as a rejection of each of the more civilised characters untamed selves, their more ‘sophisticated’ selves portrayed as wit, cunning or power. By this, I could say that Shakespeare is presenting Caliban as the only true character in the whole play, though coarse and unrefined he is evidently not a master of politics or scheming, such as the characters of Antonio and Sebastian, which has been learnt through the highest classes of civilised society. In this, Shakespeare is saying that both nature and civilisation are equal, the only difference being that nature is not in a state of self denial. BCG QUESTION MARKS (high growth, low market share) – These products are in growing markets but have low market share. – Question marks are essentially new products where buyers have yet to discover them. – The marketing strategy is to get markets to adopt these products. – Question marks have high demands and low returns due to low market share. BCG CASH COWS (low growth, high market share) – Cash cows are in a position of high market share in a mature market. – If competitive advantage has been achieved, cash cows have high profit margins and generate a lot of cash flow. Because of the low growth, promotion and placement investments are low. – Investments into supporting infrastructure can improve efficiency and increase cash flow more. – Cash cows are the products that businesses strive for. BCG DOGS (low growth, low market share)- Dogs are in low growth markets and have low market share. – Dogs should be avoided and minimized. – Expensive turn-around plans usually do not help. My review: BCG Matrix have been used in this project, it can analysis Vitasoy of market and growth. It can help us to know more improvement. [pic] My review: BCG Matrix analyzes the traditional Vitasoy Soya milk, the product is the Cash Cow group. Because the business has high market share compared to competitors. The future growth is limited and slow growing. This is a mature market leader. As the market has matured, the enterprise is not easy to expand the market size. It is the market leader. They can have high margin and cash flow. This business generates a lot of cash and helps the organization invest in other businesses. Since the market does not attract new players, this business does not need substantial investments to keep the market share. A SWOT analysis may be incorporated into the strategic planning model. Strategic Planning has been the subject of much research. Strengths: characteristics of the business or team that give it an advantage over others in the industry. Weaknesses: are characteristics that place the firm at a disadvantage relative to others. Opportunities:  external  chances to make greater sales or profits in the environment. Threats:  external  elements in the environment that could cause trouble for the business. Identification of SWOTs is essential because subsequent steps in the process of planning for achievement of the selected objective may be derived from the SWOTs. My review: SWOT analysis have been used, it is useful to analyze the information of Vitasoy. Beside, Strengths and weaknesses can study internal environmental and Opportunities and threats can study external environmental. The strengths is the seem to be Marketing Mix (5P) A) Product Vitasoy product includes soya, VITA, SAI SUI, CULCU-PLUS and Tsing Sum Zhan products. Soya Products line includes Vitasoy Soya bean Milk, Malted Soya bean milk, Dark Chocolate Soya bean Milk, melon soya milk. VITA product line includes lemon tea, Ceylon Lemon Tea, Juice and Pure Distilled Water. SAN SUI product line includes Black Soya Milk, Tofa Dessert, Silken Tofu, Pan Fried Hard Tofu. CALCI-PLUS product line includes Fiber, Collages and Oat. Tsing Sum Zhan product line includes Fid and White fungus Drink, Rock Sugar lily Bulb and Papaya Drink. Vitasoy have more product lines to provide health product. The soya drinks are high quality, high calcium and low fat. It can help people to protect their bone and health. Beside, Vitasoy enjoy developing new taste and package to meet young people, such as red bean soya and melon soya. In the result of survey, it point out most people consider the taste of drink to choose Vitasoy. B) Place Vitasoy have many distributors so Vitasoy soya milk often sells in supermarkets, stores, convenience shops. People can buy it easily. In the result of survey, most people think that they can easy to purchase Vitasoy soya milk. 8% people buy it in supermarkets. Wellcome and Parknshop can provide a lot of types of products to choose and the price is cheaper. 32% people buy in convenience shop. 7-11 and Circle K are more convenience although the price is higher than others. Vitasoy have a large market share. C) Price Supermarket of Wellcome and Parknshop sold Vitasoy soya bean milk 375ml with HK$3. 5. Convenience shop of Circle K and 7-11 sold it with HK$4. 5. The price of Vitasoy soya milk 375ml is about HK$3. 5 – HK$4. 5. If we compare with other drink, the selling price of Vitasoy is very reasonable. In the result of survey, most people think that the price of Vitasoy is reasonable. And 30% consumers consider the price is the reason to purchase Vitasoy products. Therefore, the price of Vitasoy has competitive advantage D) Promotion Effective promotion or advertising is a method on how companies can effectively market their products in a marketing environment. Effective marketing strategy means that the products of Vitasoy being provided are always excellent. You can see the Vitasoy‘s advertisement in  mass media. For example: TV, radio, newspapers, magazine, internet and mobile phones etc. Vitasoy invest a lot of money in the promotion in order to keeping creating a new image to attract teenage and remain Vitasoy is not outdated. Beside, Vitasoy have enjoy to cooperate with green enterprise and charity organizations as it will increase their positive image. E) People People are the most important element of any service or experience. Therefore, Vitasoy respect the staff development. The company owns two production facilities in Shenzhen and Shanghai which manufacture Vitasoy products for the local markets as well as for exports to Chinatowns in Western countries via Hong Kong. The distinct characteristic of the business is its ability to adapt itself to the local market. The company is able to tailor made packaging and customize its product formulas depending on the local cultures of its targeted markets. For instance, in China, only the Vitasoy brand exists. The company employs the â€Å"1 business, 1 core brand and core city† strategy in marketing its products in more established and prosperous cities in China. . The shareholder wealth maximization goal states that management should endeavour to maximize the net present (or current) value of the expected future cash flows to the shareholders of the firm. Net present value refers to the discounted sum of the expected net cash flows. Some of the cash flows, such as capital outlays, are cash outflows, while some, such as cash proceeds from sales, are cash inflows. Net cash flows are obtained by subtracting a given period's cash outflows from that period's cash inflows ( 2002). The discount rate takes into account the timing and risk of the future cash flows that are available from an investment. The longer it takes to receive a cash flow, the lower the value investors place on that cash flow now. [pic] In Part B of figure B2, 49% people like Vitasoy soya product package with 375ml. 24% people like the package with 250ml. B3) Why are you choose Vitasoy product? [pic] In Part B of figure B3, 42% people think that their reason of choose Vitasoy product is taste. And 25% interviewees think the price is the second reason. B4) How do you known regarding Vitasoy [pic] In Part B of figure B4, most interviewees know regarding Vitasoy from TV advertising. From internet and word of mouth are also 20%. B5) Have you used any Vitasoy's promotional discount (one time within 1 week)? [pic] In Part B of figure B5, most people sold that they have used the discount of â€Å"buy 1 get 1 free â€Å" And 50 people have used discount card to buy Vitasoy products. B6) Where are you usually purchase of Vitasoy products? [pic] In Part B of figure B6, 38% people usually by Vitasoy product in supermarket and 32% people like to buy it in convenience shop. And 20 % interviewees like to purchase it in vending machines. Part C – Find out the key competitor C1) What brand would you purchase except Vitasoy? [pic] In Part C of figure C1, the result listed that HI-C is the key competitor as all products are popular. In soya product, Tai Wo is second key competitor. In Juice product and water, NO FRILLS is second key competitor. In tea product, Hung Fook Tong is second key competitor. C2 ) Why do you purchase it (refer to C1) [pic] In Part C of figure C1, the result showed that the advantage of the related companies. The advantages of HI-C are strong branding and the product taste. The advantage of Hung Fook Tong is that their products are healthy. The advantages of Tai Wo are that their products are healthy and low price. The advantage of NO FRILLS is that their products are low price. C3) Will you recommended VITASOY to new consumer? [pic] In Part C of figure C1, most interviewees will recommend Vitasoy product to other consumer. Part D- Find out the information of SWOT analysis D1) Which factor is the most important of the strengths of Vitasoy? [pic] In Part D of figure D1, the result of survey showed that the strength of Vitasoy, 48% interviewees think the brand name is important factor. And â€Å"Quality assurance† is 20% and â€Å"Product diversifications† is 17%. D2) Which factor is the most important of the weaknesses of Vitasoy? [pic] In Part D of figure D2, the result showed that the weak of Vitasoy, 37% interviewees think that â€Å"Old fashion† is the main weaknesses. And â€Å"Limited verities of product line† is also weaknesses, Part E – New product development E1) Do you think VITASOY need to create new product? [pic] In Part E of figure E1, most interviewees hope VITASOY can create new product line. E2) What new products do you expect? [pic] In Part E of figure E2, 34% people look forward Vitasoy create wine product and 25% people want Vitasoy create new taste of juice. E3 ) Which of the following need to improve? [pic] In Part E of figure E2, according to the result of survey regarding need to improve. â€Å"Channel complaint† and â€Å"product choice† are also 35% Chapter 6) Conclusion In conclusion, we have collected 150 interview reports include 50 face to face interviews and 100 researches from online. The data have been analysis and made the finding in order to provide the recommendation. The segment of Vitasoy has been found. About 70% people is below 30 years old. About 60% interviewees are female. And over 50% interviewees of the income are below $10000. The Vitasoy target customers are teenager and low income as they think Vitasoy is low price and healthy food. According the survey, we can know the Marketing Mix. Regarding Product, people more like 375ml Soya than other. The reason of choosing Vitasoy product is taste. The Soya product is Vitasoy main product line. People usually consider the taste when they purchase the drink. 18% and 15% interviewees also like juice and tea. Therefore, Juice and tea may have potential to develop. For promotion, 45% interviewees think that they know Vitasoy information from TV advertising. Beside, 20% is Word of mouth, it is also important and Vitasoy have to show the positive image. 20% is internet as young people other enjoy on internet. Vitasoy should provide more promotion on internet, and then they will know more Vitasoy and do not feel the brand is outdated. Most interviewees have used the discount of â€Å"Buy one get one free† within 1 week. The promotion can attract customers to buy. And 50 people said that they have used the discount card to buy Vitasoy product, it can increase customer loyalty. There are 38% interviewees buy Vitasoy product in supermarket and 32% buy in convenience shop. As there are many distributors of Vitasoy, people can by it easily. However, a few people buy it at vending machines. According the survey, four other brand products have been compared in the project. Although consumers showed that they have confidence with Vitasoy and they think that quality assurance is the strength, the competitors also have competitive in the market. For example , HI-C is the major competitor in market, they have more product line and good promotion for teenager. Their Lemon Tea product have a large market share and competitive. Beside, for soya product is the second competitor. For juice and water product, NO FRILLS is the second competitor. For daily product, Tai Wo is the second competitor. In SWOT analysis, it showed Vitasoy is a superiority company in the market. It is because the Vitasoy product is differentiations, product line, different taste, and suitable packing can make more attractive for the target customer. Customers have confidence as strong branding with positive image and good quality control. People can buy Vitasoy product everywhere and every time as Vitasoy have large distributors’ network. And the strong promotion team let the product more popularity and create potential market. Some of interviewees think that the Vitasoy brand is old fashion and limited kinds of product line. Therefore, Vitasoy should improve the image to fashion and meet young people as well as create new product to maintain the attraction fresh. The survey pointed out that most interviewees (88%) want to have more new product. It can keep customer fresh and increase market sales and market share. 34 % people suggested that wine is consideration of new product line and 25% people want to have new taste of juice. Chapter 7) Recommendation After do the research, the information can study and let us more knowledge about Vitasoy Company. We have known that Vitasoy is a popular brand to made healthy drink with high quality. Vitasoy have got more product quality awards and environmental awards, so their image is positive. However, BCG Matrix showed Vitasoy is cash cow. The mean is high market share and cash flow, but no more business growth rate. Beside, the competitor will affect Vitasoy profit. HI-C had invested more in promotion and new product development. It was developing two new taste soya products within 2 years such as Creme Caramel soya milk and Corn soya milk. Vitasoy also focus on existing product improvement. Improvement of image As Vitasoy is old brand, young people may think it is outdated. They may try other new brand. Vitasoy need to consider the customer behaviour and improve the promotion for target group. For example, it can create some video about friendship or love story and post into â€Å"Youtrue† and Facebook to attract young people attention. New product development In the result of survey, interviewees look forward wine product line. As changing of the eating culture, people will enjoy drink wine and wine is a healthy drink. New product line can increase marketing and profit. Chapter 8) Table Time We will follow the above time table to study our project. It can help us to control the time management effective. Chapter 9) Ethical considerations All research has been conducted in an ethical manner. This obvious statement means that all phases of a research study, from planning and design to reporting, must be conducted in accordance with accepted standards of ethical behavior. All responses will stored securely, and once the information has been analyzed, all data will be securely stored . participation in this study is entirely voluntary. Respondents to questionnaires rarely benefit personally from their efforts and the least the researcher can do is to thank them. Even though the covering letter will express appreciation for the help given, it is also a nice gesture to finish the questionnaire with a further thank you. Eminem “Lose yourself” Essay

After analyzing ‘Lose Yourself’ by Eminem, I’ve understood Eminem’s emotion in this song. He raps about taking a chance at success and being able to take it without anyone stopping him. He also refers to the movie 8 mile, where he failed his first chance and knew that his second opportunity he had to succeed. Analyzing the lyrics, with all the expression he has on him he’s starting to lose his desire and momentum of being an artist. At one point he says â€Å"A normal life is boring, but super stardom’s close to post mortem† which means that having a normal life is boring, but being a superstar is almost being dead. Eminem feels like being a superstar is a lot of pressure and the expectation levels are very high because you need to keep producing content that is bigger and better which he said in this sentence â€Å"It only grows harder, only grows hotter†. He’s been through tough times in his career and tries his best to gain respect from other rappers in the industry. My final thoughts on this analysis would be that this song is about his tough times and what he goes through in his career and he truly does a great job expressing it in ‘Lose Yourself’. Everyone in life goes through tough situations and I can reflect on this when it comes to school grades. As I explained in the following paragraph â€Å"It only grows harder, only grows hotter† means you have to produce better content for better results is something I can reflect on. It’s never easy to get good marks; you always need to put in motivation and dedication to succeed. You need to put in better work and effort to get the results you want which is why Eminem’s verse in this song reflects me. Overall though, I must say this is one of my favorite songs of all time and it was very interesting to analyze Eminem’s lyrics.

Book of Acts Essay

The Book of Acts The book of Act was written by Saint Luke. The date of the writing is uncertain, but most scholars favor the period 8-90 A. D. Some people think that Acts represents normative guidelines for the New Testament church for all times. In this view I think it is agreeable for the book of acts just shows the ideal church with corresponding beliefs and values. This kind of church should be present to all even up to the present times. This book, in which St. Luke records the actions of the apostles, particularly of St. Peter and St. Paul, (whose companion in travel he was,) is as it were the centre between the Gospel and the Epistles. It contains, after a very brief re-capitulation of the evangelical history, a continuation of the history of Christ, the event of his predictions, and a kind of supplement to what he had before spoken to his disciples, by the Holy Ghost now given unto them. It contains also the seeds, and first stamina of all those things, which are enlarged upon in the epistles. The Gospels treat of Christ the head. The Acts show that the same things befell his body; which is animated by his Spirit, persecuted by the world, defended and exalted by God. In this book is shown the Christian doctrine, and the method of applying it to Jews, heathens, and believers; that is, to those who are to be converted, and those who are converted: the hindrances of it in particular men, in several kinds of men, in different ranks and nations: the propagation of the Gospel, and that grand revolution among both Jews and heathens: the victory thereof, in Spite of all opposition, from all the power, malice, and wisdom of the whole world, spreading from one chamber into temples, houses, streets, markets, fields, inns, prisons, camps, courts, chariots, ships, villages, cities, islands: to Jews, heathens, magistrates, generals, soldiers, eunuchs, captives, slaves, women, children, sailors: to Athens, and at length to Rome. Others view it as only descriptive for the 1st century church. Descriptive in the sense that it only describes the pattern and how the church worked during that period of time. The term â€Å"Acts† is not used, as it is sometimes with us, to denote decrees or laws or having to describe it, but it denotes the doings of the apostles. It is a record of what the apostles did in founding and establishing the Christian church. It is worthy of remark, however, that it contains a record of the doings of Peter and Paul. Peter was commissioned to open the doors of the Christian church to both Jews and Gentiles, and Paul was chosen to bear the gospel especially to the pagan world. As these two apostles were the most prominent and distinguished in founding and organizing the Christian church, it was deemed proper that a special and permanent record should be made of their labors. While some think that it is both a normative guidelines and a description of the church of the 1st century. At the beginning of the book the author states his purpose and that is to explain to Theophilus, and to the world, how Christianity arose and began its sweep across the earth. By this time Christianity appeared to be on the way to becoming a world religion, and some account of its beginning was needed so that it might appeal to cultured and learned people. It talks about the Day of Pentecost, empowered by the Holy Spirit; the apostles take the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the Mediterranean world. The title is misleading, for Acts is not a record of all the original disciples of Jesus. The book gives the early history of Christianity from Christ’s ascension outside Jerusalem to Paul’s visit in Rome. Chapters 1-12 stress the work of Peter in Judea and nearby lands, mainly among Jews. Chapters 13- 28 tell of the far- ranging missionary preaching of Paul, mainly to gentiles. In my opinion it is a normative guideline for the New Testament church. In the book of Acts, it is shown how the people and the believer should act before God. All antiquity is unanimous in ascribing this book to Luke as its author. It is repeatedly mentioned and quoted by the early Christian writers, and without a dissenting voice is mentioned as the work of Luke. The same thing is clear from the book itself. It professes to have been written by the same person who wrote the Gospel of Luke, Ac 1:1; was addressed to the same person, and bears manifest marks of being from the same pen. It is designed evidently as a continuation of his Gospel, as in this book he has taken up the history at the very time where he left it in the Gospel, Ac 1:1, 2. It also shows that the Holy Spirit is really with His people if they will ask from it, for the Holy Spirit will be their comforter and friend. The church nowadays should be guided by the Holy Spirit for a strong foundation. The gospel should be well delivered and evangelized throughout the world by the believers. They should acts upon what is right just like what Paul and Peter did in the book of Acts where in they weren’t afraid to spread the good news among all people. This book has commonly been regarded as a history of the Christian church, and of course the first ecclesiastical history that was written. But it cannot have been designed as a general history of the church. Many important transactions have been omitted. It gives no account of the church at Jerusalem after the conversion of Paul; it omits his journey into Arabia, Gad 1:17; gives no account of the propagation of the gospel in Egypt, or in Babylon, 1Pe 5:13; of the foundation of the church at Rome; of many of Paul’s voyages and shipwrecks, 2Co 11:25; and omits to record the labors of most of the apostles, and confines the narrative chiefly to the transactions of Peter and Paul. Primo Levi was an Italian Jew who was captured by the Nazis and taken to a concentration cantonment. Vassiltchikov was free, she lived a restricted life, but she still had her freedom. Levi was a captive ; he lived a prisoner slave life and had no autonomies or freedoms. This difference seems to be the most eventful. They led such different lives. Levi was the absolute curse of the Nazi being, as they were to him. In contrast, Vassiltchikov really worked for the Nazis ; granted to hold the freedom that she did, that # 8217 ; s where she had to work. But still, Vassiltchikov had freedom, how much more different could one get from being a Judaic captive in a Nazi concentration cantonment, as Levi was.
